Window 15Memorial Chapel (A.K Nicholson,1923)

St Luke, the Virgin Mary & St Stephen of Tours

At apex: winged Dove of peace.

3 light window - inscriptions at base of lights 1 and 3:

Light 1: To the glory of God and in loving memory of Henry George Johnson Meara M.A. honorary canon, Oxford, Vicar of this parish 1890 to 1914.

Light 3: This window is given by 500 parishioners and friends in 1923.

At apex: Christ in Majesty.  Above transom: Angels, King & Bishop praising Christ.  Below transom: Nativity scene

Window 16 - Main East Window

Window 17Winged Bull (badge of St Luke) in apex (1871)

No surviving inscription.  Window inserted 1871 and taken out in 1952 except for glass in apex.  The first memorial window located on the south side of the chancel was given in 1867 in memory of Dr Bellis.  This was taken out at the same time and is now lost to us.
