Prayer

We pray for people and situations regularly at St. Luke's.
The weekly Newsheet contains a list of individuals who have asked for our prayers and they are included in the intercessions at our services.

We have a Prayer Board at the back of church where people can write prayer requests.  These people are included in our intercessions at the midweek service in the last week of each month.

Please let us know if you would like to be included in our prayers in either of these ways.

Prayer Group Meeting
Do you wish you could have some time for peace and quiet, to come before God in prayer and to share time with Our Lord? If so, then we at St Luke's may be able to help. On the first Wednesday of the month, there is an opportunity to do just this. Our Prayer Meeting, which is held in St Luke's Church, starts at 3.00pm and lasts for about half an hour. During this period we can relax and enjoy being in God's presence. We offer our prayers to him not just for ourselves but for those who have asked for prayer.

There is no commitment to come every month, although that would be lovely. There is no charge made. The time is very free and flexible, what we have is a space in our busy lives to meet with God our Father. For further information, please contact Sonya Clarke on 01628 - 671795
